Three Alabama Projects Named National Finalists!

Each year our Councils and Clubs do what they do best...volunteer their time, talents, and energies to worthwhile local causes.  Projects of note are submitted to the National TelecomPioneers for review and consideration for national awards.  This year, three projects from Alabama were selected as national finalists.

In addition to the three projects pictured below, two individuals were nominated for national awards to recognize their work.  Alabama has two of the six national finalists:
Cathy Kelley and Laneace Whitley!

Project Excellence - Life Enrichment:
Birmingham Life Member Club for their project 700 Miracles

Project Excellence - Life Enrichment:
Mobile Council for their project Firemen Thank You!

Project Excellence - Environmental:
Mobile Council for their project Change to Cool Lights and Change the World

note:  Alabama has 1 of 5 project finalists in the Environmental category!
